Alison WOW ! a "burst" of birds ! We get the little redheads along with the gorgeous Goldfinches but in much warmer weather .. SPRING .. if that season ever comes .. Pictures are great ! Keep them coming ! Joy : )
I found your page through another blog. I was wondering how you like that feeder? I have the goldfinches and right now they are eating out of those socks you hang. Anyhow I saw one of the screen type feeders at Tractor Suply and wondered how well they would work. Looks like your birds love it! I thought maybe it wouldn't waste as much seed as the sock type feeder.
This is the story of the transformation of a bland property in Nova Scotia into what will hopefully be an oasis in the midst of the business of life. I find much joy in gardening and wanted to have somewhere to record the unfolding of my space.
