Mulch mulch and more mulch. Do you suppose this is enough Karen? Freshly mulched front bed in front of the porch between the two properties. Husker Red Penstamon She has bloomed and bloomed and bloomed. I have never seen so many flowers all at once.
Wow, yeah, I think that was enough mulch. (Am I the "Karen" you're talking about? You seem to know more than one.)
Everything looks great. I love the penstemon -- great non-green foliage. I know I planted that in my garden once. I think it got ripped out though when I realized it was not a good idea to try and grow things near the bird feeder.
This is the story of the transformation of a bland property in Nova Scotia into what will hopefully be an oasis in the midst of the business of life. I find much joy in gardening and wanted to have somewhere to record the unfolding of my space.
